Hours: 7 hrs per week (1 day)
Salary: £28,000 (pro rata)
Type: Permanent (subject to 6 month trial period)

Artists Studio Company (ASC) is a London based registered arts charity and one of the largest affordable workspace providers to artists and makers in Greater London. We support over 800 creative tenants within 8 buildings across 6 London Boroughs and manage a varied and exciting calendar of art exhibitions and events. Our artists and designer-makers range from recently graduated to established in their field, and span fine art, fashion design, ceramics, print and more. 

We are looking for an experienced professional in arts management or similar, to lead a programme of business support aimed at supporting the professional development of our tenants and offering valuable practical guidance. This is a new role for the organisation 

They will be someone who can facilitate a programme of events – these may be seminars, workshops and group mentoring – led by industry professionals to deliver practical guidance on how to operate and sustain a creative practice/business long term. This may include how to write successful funding applications, manage finances, career guidance, self-promotion, how to organise exhibitions and events and time management, amongst others. 

We are a small, very friendly creative team mainly from arts backgrounds. A good understanding of the arts sector and genuine enthusiasm for the arts is essential, as is a strong understanding of the challenges creatives face in sustaining a creative business over time.
