The images found in the work are often akin to those of constant movement, executed through rhythmic gestures and an expressionistic application of paint. The unknown is embraced in the studio, achieved through a usage of multiple liquid mediums with a variety of tools on different surfaces. It’s the varying modes of process which I am interested in, it’s the unforeseeable outcomes which are most fascinating to me. New methods and experimentations are used in different series, mistakes and ‘happy accidents’ are always welcomed. The end results evoke a multitude of semblances whilst always maintaining their own unique visual identities.
