Henry Tyrell

I am an artist who lives and works in London. I make abstract paintings that explore a connection between painting, landscape and memory. In the work simple, ambiguous forms repeat and mutate, manifesting themselves in different guises across the body of work. I seek to play with some of the basic conventions of painting like gesture, symbol and the substance of oil paint itself.
