Laura Marker
Laura Marker studied fine art at Wimbledon College of Art (MA 2012) and primarily works with projection-based installation, lens based media and digital collage. She is heavily influenced by concepts relating to the passage of time, visual “truth” and illusion, past events or social injustices that still hold relevance today. Her work makes reference to historical developments in photography, science fiction imagery, historical scientific documentation and the development of new technologies, in particular lens based technologies.
