Our only East London-based studio site, Empson Street is based in a former printworks and houses over 60 artists and makers in a unique industrial building. Empson Street sits amongst a local hub of arts activity, with a number of other creative studios and spaces in the area. Keep an eye out for other events going on nearby, such as the Bow Arts Open Studios a week prior.

While you’re there, make sure to visit an exhibition in the Unit 3 Projects space in the building, curated by and featuring several artists taking part in the open studios!

Full disability access on the ground floor. Main entrance is not step-free but there is an alternative accessible entrance. There is no lift in the building.
