In Conversation: Patterns

We are delighted to invite you to In Conversation: Patterns, a collaborative exhibition by painters Hayoung Kim and Heena Kim, @heena.kim.hyunhwa & @hahayoung_kim

For this project, as their third dialogue, the concept expands into an exhibition format, responding to shared themes of patterns – visual, emotional, and lived. The exhibition explores how repeated forms, gestures, and rhythms emerge through their conversation, exchange, and shared experience.

The exhibition brings together two paintings and a series of works on paper, reflecting different rhythms of artistic exchange. The paintings act as anchors within the space, while the works on paper function as more immediate, responsive gestures, like notes passed between artists.

Together, these formats create a balanced conversation between reflection and spontaneity, showing how ideas move, pause, and evolve through the work process.
