Twenty20 | Courthouse Projects

‘Twenty20’ is a transatlantic collaboration between ASC Studios (London, UK) and @M Galleries (NJ, USA). Curated by Marq Kearey, Pete Mountford, Darren O’Brien and Frank May.

The objective of the exhibition is to explore the longstanding historical, political, cultural, social, and language links of the UK and USA whilst also pushing these through the unique experiences of the year 2020 and the ramifications still occurring beyond.

10 UK Artists / 10 USA Artists

Each artist was drawn randomly together with a counterpart, then sent each other 20 words on their 2020 experiences. These works are the results of those exchanges. Part one of this exhibition took place in three venues in New Jersey, USA, between April – July 2022.
