Statement: The Death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Statement from Artists’ Studio Company’s CEO, Peter Flack, on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

As a UK charitable organisation closely associated with cultural initiatives across London boroughs, we offer our condolences to the British royal family on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, and share our support with King Charles III on his accession to the throne.

We, along with the nation, mourn her life and devotion to the British public, including her commitment to our cultural values of acceptance, dedication, and duty to others.

In this time of mourning, ASC reflects on the legacy of support offered by Queen Elizabeth II to arts and culture throughout her reign, and reaffirms our own dedication to charitable purpose and public service in the arts sector. In line with National Mourning Guidance, ASC will be closing its offices on the day of the State Funeral, Monday 19th September.
