Open Studios 2024

Throughout summer and autumn 2024, ASC sites will be running a series of open studios events. Studios will be opening up their doors for visitors to view their work, visit exhibitions, take part in workshops, buy pieces or simply see an artist at work. Open studios are free and open to all!

June

ASC Ealing Road

Friday 14th June, 6 – 9 pm

Saturday 15th June, 11 am – 5 pm

For our first open studios event in 2024, studio artists in Alperton will open their doors to the local community.

Sitting next to the Grand Union Canal in Brent, Ealing Road studios spans three buildings surrounding a large courtyard. The new-build site was opened in 2019 with a community of nearly 40 artists and makers across affordable individual, group and shared studios.

While you’re here, drop into a group exhibition in Canalside Gallery project space, curated by and featuring many of the artists taking part in the open studios.

ASC Hawks Road

Friday 21st June, 1 – 9 pm

Sunday 23rd, 11 am – 5 pm

Following a series of successful annual events with Kingston Artists Open Studios (KAOS), Hawks Road artists will be running an individual open studios showcasing their community.

ASC Empson Street

Friday 28th June, 6 – 9 pm

Saturday 29th June, 11 am – 5 pm

Our only East London-based studio site, Empson Street is based in a former printworks and houses over 60 artists and makers in a unique industrial building. Empson Street sits amongst a local hub of arts activity, with a number of other creative studios and spaces in the area.

While you’re there, make sure to visit an exhibition in the Unit 3 Projects space in the building, curated by and featuring several artists taking part in the open studios!
