Large, self-contained studio perfectly suited to workshop-based practices, including printmaking or ceramics, or a large group or collective. Located in one of our first-floor shop units at Taplow House, Thurlow Street. This bright and versatile space benefits from excellent natural light, high ceilings, and independent access. Neighbours include Turps Painting School, Turps Gallery, and 100+ ASC artists and makers in adjoining shop units and floor below.

The studio was previously home to a printmaking studio for over 10 years and includes a large main room with double-height ceilings, mezzanine level, three smaller rooms beneath the mezzanine, a spacious rear room, and a large sink/washout unit ideal for messy processes. 3-phase power is also installed.

Studios are 24 hour access throughout the year, with free WiFi.

Electricity is charged quarterly. When we receive the quarterly bill from EDF (issued on 25 January, 25 April, 25 July, and 25 October), we recharge the corresponding amount directly to the tenant. Electricity is therefore not included in the monthly fee. The fee for these studios is reduced to reflect this additional cost.
